I was driving my mom’s Dodge Caliber today when I noticed the that the note printed on the mirror is translated wrong..!!!

In English it usually reads

“Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear”

But the Arabic translation printed on the mirror reflects the opposite, it seams Dodge used Google web translation service.

The mirror makes things look further, so in realty they are closer.

The Arabic writing on the mirror means: “Objects in the mirror are CLOSER THAN they are in realty”, which doesn’t makes any sense

But you just said that in English it usually reads

“Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear”… and that is the same as “Objects in the mirror are CLOSER THAN they are in realty”..

    You’re contradicting yourself :p~

No they make them look further

The message you get when reading the Arabic is that the mirror make the objects behind you looks closer, whereas the mirror usually make them look far.
