I’am not a fan of big touring bikes, but the sound and feel of any v-twin bike has a certain feel that can’t be replaced, you have to ride one to be able to understand how addictive it is….thats why i have a fetish for v-twin bikes.

The 2011 Norge GT its engine and exhaust system updated to the more powerful 8 valve (4 valves per cylinder) and now the 8V 1200 is pumps up 102 bhp, with 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) torque at 5500 rpm. For better cornering and stability when the bike is fully loaded with the touring gear, the suspension was also upgraded with new front forks and a new rear shock absorber.

The bike also got a new power-adjusted windscreen, new improved air flow fairings for engine cooling, anti-slip seat with a “body forming” foam, vibration-dampened footrests.

Aziz, i was never a fan of GT bikes, but ever since i tried the NORGE i fell in love with it. the older one also has the electric windscreen. but the engine of the new NORGE is the 8 valve so more HP and less torque. MOTO GUZZI released this white GT 8V as they call, i guess this is good for your next trip with alsamhan :P you guys are only getting older :)
