A gas pedal that pushes back!

Engineered to encourage fuel economy Nissan’s new “ECO pedal” a servo-actuated gas pedal that will push back on your foot when it detects wasteful acceleration..

According to Nissan, the ECO pedal equipped vehicles gauges fuel consumption in real-time and pushes back the driver’s foot just like the ABS does to the break pedal, tests have returned a 5-10 percent increase in fuel efficiency.

Nissan plans to begin installing the ECO pedal in models next year, i hope the GT-R is not on the list.
