My dear friend Hussain Al Samhan is in Paris, and he just sent me this photo.
He usually ride his bike all the way to Europe, but this year was an exception because riding thru Syria is not safe and there are no ferries from Egypt to Italy so he had to ship the bike to Morocco and tour Morocco then ride the ferry from there to Spain and ride the bike thru Spain all the way to Paris. I’m gona try to join him, but am not gona ship any of my bikes as am trying to buy a bike from France or Italy and spend a month touring Europe on it then sell it or just leave at a friend’s place.
I hope ill be able to do it before Hussain comes back.
Fastest torrent
I posted a couple of times about the movie “Fastest”, its like a Rossi biography but its nice watch. If you have been following MotoGP the movie is almost a Deja Vu but with riders talking about their feelings during the great battles they fought.
I liked the parts when Simoncelli talked about his racing style and when the movies talks about reasons behind Rossi’s shift to Yamaha.

Kuwait’s first motorcycle racing team
Arab Riders racing team is Kuwait’s first motorcycle racing team, the guys has been riding motorcycles all their live…they actually don’t remeber when was the first time they rode a motorcycle but what they do remember is that back in 2008 they decided to take their hobby a bit more serious.
I have known Mohamad Al Hadad and Fahad Al Owaish – the 2 guys behind the Arab Riders – for a couple of years and over a cup of coffee we had a serious chat -for a change-, i asked them a couple of questions about the hobby and their recent participation at the Qatar International Road Racing Championship. Sad day
I was watching the Malaysian round of the MotoGP from the office today and on the 3rd lap Simoncelli slides but somehow manages a save which almost brought the bike up again and unfortunately across the track and into the path of riders Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi.
Both Edwards and Rossi crashed into Simoncelli at the same time, Simoncelli was rushed to the medical center but he succumbed to his injuries at 11:56am local time.
Marco was a great racer we all enjoyed watching him race, he was the spice of the MotoGP.
