inviteStarting tomorrow Remon Yousef will be exhibiting his latest creations at

“The Exhibition”, Remon has a very controversial style -at least for me- it reminds me of a cartoon i used to watch back in the days, drop in whenever you have the time and feast your eye with some art.

This is his second exhibit so far and he is calling it Lines & Co.!!!

Ducati StreetFighter

The term “streetfighter” originated from stripping the fairing of superbikes then adding high bars to create an urban bike with easier handling, the new Ducati Streetfighter is based on unfaired 1098/1198 superbikes, and is here to replace the Monster S4Rs.

Most of the parts in the Streetfighter are new in one way or the another…the engine is almost a straight lift of the 1098, except for the crankcases which are the from the 1198’s -3kg lighter-, the chassis is the same as the 1198’s with a different geometry, the rear subframe is new and shortens the bike by three inches compared with the 1098, the fuel tank is new so is the exhaust, the traction control (DTC) is also the same as the 1198’s and has eight setting so you can change these setting depending on your testosterone level.

I believe the Streetfighter will be a thrilling bike, and i would like to have a go on it but it has one problem that is the lack of wind protection…but again you can’t criticize a naked bike for the lack of fairing right?

It’s been more than 6 month since my last workout, and am not happy about it… i was feeling lazy and getting my Endorphin fix from riding the bike…but now it’s too hot to ride and my body is growing boobs that looks like a pair of empty socks hanging from my chest all the way to my waist…so i had to take action.

Yesterday was my first day, and i hate the first couple of weeks…you have to take it easy and wait until you are back in shape to really enjoy the workout…am only doing 30 min on the bicycle and a one exercise for each of the five major muscles using very light weight if any.

pedrosa

Dani Pedrosa has set a new top speed record of 349.3 km/h on his Repsol Honda, a record speed higher than what F1 cars manage on their fastest straight at Monza.

The new recored is 1.7 km/h faster than the previous record, set by Loris Capirossi on a 990 Ducati in 2003, Pedrosa had the benefit of slipstreaming Rossi.

Stoner break’s the rule

Mugello is the track where Ducati test and develop their MotoGP bikes, until yesterday the track was dominated by Valentino Rossi since he was a Honda rider, but Stoner finally broke the rule of an Italian rider winning on Italian soil.

The track was wet and the race needed time management on when to change tires, Stoner, Rossi, and Lorernzo went into the bit at the same time….it was as if Rossi, and Lorernzo were waiting for Stoner to make the move.

Lorenzo crashed at the warm up lap but continued the race and finished third, Rossi came in second.

Pedrosa crashed out on lap 14 and was stretchered out, we just have to wait and see if he is fit to race at Barcelona-his home town- in two weeks.

Another double win for Spies

Spies

Spies powered away from the start, and the rest of the racers had to just try keeping up, Fabrizio managed to keep Spies on his toe for most of the race, but then had to settle for third in race one and second in race two…at the end of the day this is a US track which Spies knows very well and competed on for the American Superbike championship.

Ducati is still leading the championship -7 rounds to go-, with 311 points, Yamaha 253, Honda 206, Aprilia 129, Suzuki 113, Bmw 60, and Kawasaki 41 points.
