The Cafe Rouge by Larry Houghton, a show bike powered by a 1976 Norton 850 came 11th at the AMD World Championship, Yes the bike is not really practical but it does show creativity and craftsmanship plus outside the box thinking thru the use of acrylic.

The frame is hand built and has a cantilever shock working the rear swingarm, an upside down Suzuki forks. 21 inch front and 23 inch rear wheels with a 130 inch width back tire, everything in this bike is adjustable, seat height and rear ride height..etc.

My Aegean Journey

I start my journey and my mind is automatically transformed into a camera… Capturing memorable images and storing them under files of unforgettable memories.
The beach…As I walk along the stretches of gold, avoiding the marble-like pebbles, the warmth and dampness of the earth beneath me embraces my feet and I am immediately pulled into it’s magnificence… sinking deeper; leaving traces of my journey for the waves to wash away… While… Waves of images crash into my mind; permanent traces, even time can’t wash away.
The chain of mountains seem endless but not as vast as the ever-lasting blue they tower over. I cool myself in the sea and simultaneously bathe in the sun; coating myself in a gleaming crisp-bronze layer.

The air is so hot you can almost taste it: an authentic taste. I fill my lungs with the joy of my surroundings.
The sun melts the horizon as it sets and I reach the end of my exquisite journey.

This is the Greek Paraolimpics team, i was leaving Athens to Kuwait yesterday when i met them at the airport they were leaving to China to represent Greece at the Paraolimpics.

It was quite a scene.. almost everyone at the airport gathered around them to greet and cheer them, and of course like any Arab i heard the noise and rushed to find out what’s happing.

Santorini roads are narrow and the distances are short so the locals use scooters and motorcycles to move around the island, in the photo you see a Santorini Policeman on an R1, he came with his partner -in the background- and arrested 2 Chinese guys -also in the background under the umbrella- for working on the beach without a permit -Chinese massage-.

They had to call for a police jeep to take the arrested to the police station though.

Ruby Woo, this a sample of Greek men let me know what you think.
