I’ve Got the Power !

This is a video we shot last year, we had a demo Aprilla RSV4 Factory, a demo BMW S1000rr and a fully moded BMW E60 M5.
We were experimenting with the RR trying to find out what can it do, so we asked our friend on the RR to stop and only start accelerating when we – me on the RSV4 and my friend in the M5- pass by him at a speed of 100kmh.
Now the thing that we did not know that the RSV4 was on the “R” mood which stands for Road and only pumps out 140hp while the “R” mood on the RR is the race mode that unleashes all the 180 horses.
Enjoy

Tonight at 4am -Kuwait local time- the first round of the 2011 world super bike championship kicks-off at Phillip Island.
Carlos Checa set the quickest lap ever recorded around Phillip Island on his Althea Racing Ducati 1098R -1 minute 30.882 seconds-, thus grabbing the first Superpole trophy of the year, Biaggi came second on the Apprila, and Haslam forth on the S1000 RR.
I believe its gonna be an intense race, with the three aggressive boys at the poles.
2011 Aprilia RSV4R
Leaks on the 2011 Aprilia RSV4R are still pouring in, i posted a couple of month back about the new features of the 2011 RSV4R, and now it seams that the RSV4R will be coming with a bunch of new features that were only available on the RSV4R Factory, like the APRC system, quick shift, launch control, wheelie and traction control.
Other changes include a slimmer exhaust, gold forks, shorter gearing and lighter wheels. The APRC-equipped RSV4 R should be retaliating around KD4750 which makes it a smarter option compared to any of the Japanese bikes in the market.

Best of 2010
2010 is the year of the European manufacturers’, as they were the ones with a lot of cash during the global recession and continued to feast us with new products while the Japanese went into hibernation.
Motorcycle of the Year BMW S1000RR

Finally, and in my humble opinion the most beautiful sport bike Aprilia RSV4.

A benchmark for street bikes
The Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC Special Edition is serious track bike it applies Aprilia’s track technology and experience to Aprilia’s supersports road bikes, the new RSV4 APRC -Aprilia Performance Ride Control- special edition comes with adjustable traction control -8 settings- , wheelie control -3 settings-, launch control -3 settings-, quick shifter and an ECU derived from Aprilia’s SBK bike.
This bike is almost a clone Max Biaggi‘s bike, i believe it is the most beautiful bike currently in market -not locally- . Read more
Ducati dominates Imola
But Aprilia claims the championship….what an exciting race it was, in race one Ducati claimed the entire podium and in race two Ducati claimed the 1st and 2ed positions.
Checa on the Ducati and Sykes on the Kawasaki gave us a great show, i have never seen a Kawasaki performing that good before….on the other hand Biaggi did not do much in this race as if he was certain of the championship…and a mistake from Haslam gifted the championship to Aprilia.
The final round will take place in France on Oct 3ed. and it will only rearrange the manufacturer standings a bit.
RSV4 2011
Leaks from Aprilia hinting on Traction control, extra 8hp, and a new exhaust, but no news on ABS.
The RSV4 has very good breaks, but not having the option of an ABS system, puts it behind the BMW S1000RR and the Honda CBR1000RR.
A silly one
Aprilia ‘Table Cloth Trick” commercial was a nice one, but campaigning it is a very BAD idea.
