Spy photos and info of the new Ducati 1199 superbike are surfacing around the web, the 1199 was co-developed by Troy Bayliss who has been lapping it at Mugello circuit and according to him it’s a BEAS !! -he managed to match Stoner’s lap time on the GP10-

The bike is called Superquadrata -Super Square- reference to the ultra short stroke of the all new V-twin engine, and as we can see from the spy shots the new bike is a shorter, lighter and much more compact, the new engine will have gear driven cams to maintain the valve timing at high revs.

It’s also rumored that the bike will be frameless -an innovation Ducati patent last year – anyway ECMA is only a couple of month away and thats where we except the new beast will be launched.

Is this the new DUC?

“Coffee with a moto twist” this how CorsaCaffe describes its coffee beans blends,  CorsaCaffe is another brand extension of the Ducati brand but this time is not from Ducati !! It comes form Arun Sharma, manager of  MotoCorsa..a Ducati dealership in Portland, Oregon.

To preserve the oils and flavors of the coffee and give you the freshest possible coffee, CorsaCaffe beans are freshly roasted and shipped out to customers the same day.

Ducati has previously launched the Desmorosso a Ducati Wine  and the Ducati Profumo.

I wonder if TriStar is going to replace the Nescafe they usually serve at the showroom with some Italian roast that goes with ambiance.

Seams the incident between Rossi and Stoner at Jerez is far from over and is to be investigated by the FIM, anyone who witnessed the crash can see how around 10 marshals went to help Rossi and left Stoner struggling all alone trying to start his bike, and only after Rossi took off  a couple of them went to help Stoner and did a bad job.

Update: turns out it wan’t a loose nut after all, the wheel broke, watch it in slow motion.
