A threesome for Max

Biaggi won both races today at Misano, he led form the middle in race one up to two thirds of the race when he decided to take the lead…in race two he managed to break away from the rest and was impossible to catch.

Race was fun, it was a fight between the titans, Biaggi 39, Corser 37, and Checa 40.

Corser on the BMW led 17 laps of race one, and gave us a nice show until he got tired.. thats when Biaggi Aprilia and Checa on the Ducati made their move.

Haslam triumph in Kyalami

In Race one Fabrizio on the Ducati took an early lead and was having fun and kept us amused with his slides in and out of corners, it was like watching a stunt rider performing high speed stunts.

Although Fabrizio won race one of the Kyalami round, but the real worrier was Haslam on the Suzuki…he was the star of race one and two, battling against the rookies -Rea- and the geezers -Biaggi- he manged to snatch race two from Rea at the last lap, it was a prertty intense fight.

Manufacturers standings : SUZUKI 222,  APRILIA 213, DUCATI 185.

Master Max

Yesterdays’ race at Monza was the best race of the season, Max Biggi shined from start to finish in both rounds.

Biggi was unstoppable, sliding into a corner and coming out of the same corner with a wheelie….got me glued to the TV for 36 laps.
Toseland on the R1 was the motivator for Max, he pushed Biggi to the limit but then he couldn’t keep up, in race two Crutchlow’s also gave Biggi a good run but his R1 broke down later on.
The race marked the first ever World Superbike podium for BMW,  Xaus posted his best ever result for the team, with a sixth place in race one, and Troy Corser came third place from 12th on the grid in race two.

It was also a great race for Tom Sykes the Kawasaki man who gave Haga a hard time, and Haga couldn’t overtake him.

A double for Johnny

As much as race 1 was a bore, race 2 was amusing…Rea on the Honda took the pole in both races and was fast as rocket and steady as a train.

Corser on the BMW led both races for a while but no one could find a way around Rea, it was not a good race for Ducati as Fabrizio fell in race one and Haga had a technical problem that made him quit race 2.

The Aprilia rider Leon Camier was doing well until he took a bad fall in race 2.

Haga shares Valencia with the Suzuki rider Leon Haslam, Biaggi was the fastest…he pushed the Aprila to its limit, but it seams it  was not enough to win the race, and lost it to Haga in race two.
