Aprilia RSV4R
A couple of weeks ago i visited Bike World to check the new Guzzi models and was told that they are getting the new Aprilia RSV4R soon, yesterday i was in Shuwaikh so i decided to drop in and check if the bike has arrived, and i wasn’t disappointed..the bike was there..and apparently it just arrived today… they had both the black and white versions.
The bike has the same engine of the Factory version but without the Öhlins suspension, the forged rims, and the couple of carbon pieces, the price difference is huge and makes the RSV4R very affordable, the bike is the size of 600cc but with the 1000cc engine, it has the most aggressive looks among the one liter bikes. Biaggi on the Aprilia scored his first win of the season in race one at Brno, It was also Aprilia’s first win in the category since 2001, Biaggi cruised to finish line after Spies and Fabrizio were eliminated when Fabrizio crashed taking down Spies down with him, Troy Corser on the S1000RR led the opening two laps, while Xaus on the same bike crashed out on the first lap.
In race two Spies led towards his eleventh win of the season, but it wasn’t easy as he had to keep Biaggi at bay, Biaggi took second, third went to Fabrizio.

I was in Shuwaikh yesterday and noticed a new motorcycle showroom…i looked up to the sign and saw the following brands: Aprilia, PIAGGIO, Vespa, GILERA, and MOTO GUZZI !!!
Parked quickly.. went down to check it out and there it was…a part of Italy’s’ motorcycle history, a showroom full of Vespa scooters, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia ..
The Vespas’ were irresistible…i don’t know how i resisted going back on one, Vespa is an icon and it doesn’t matter if you are a male or a female, young or old, a house wife or a businessman the Vespa will have your heart skip a beat…this scooter is one of the few bikes that have a style of its own and has maintained its classic and classy looks look over the years.. no visit to Italy is complete without renting a Vespa and riding it on the twisty roads of Sorrento. This is Aprilia’s replacement of the RSV, although they tried to hide the faring with duct tape you still can tell how it looks, the new ram air inlets are much more aggressive than the RSV.
Nothing more to tell other than it has a new frame, oh and a juicy 220hp..!
