I ordered these Alpina Wheels thru PakBikes back in March and because they are custom made i got them around June, the weather was already too hot and i wasn’t riding the bike so i decided to keep them at home until its time to ride again.

Now the weather is becoming very biking friendly so i called TriStar in the morning and by 6pm my bike was being loaded to the truck, the bike should be ready tomorrow so i will click some pics for the bike with new wheels on.

The wheels are tubeless, lighter than the stock ones, and much more beautiful of course.

Ducati will be increasing the 1098 engine capacity to 1198cc in 2009, actually it’s only a gently tuned 1098R engine.

No word on traction control yet but the new 1198 will have 170bhp, may get minor face left, and will be lighter than the current 1098.
