I tried to convince him
…..but did not succeed !I have much respect for his decision.
Shuhei Nakamoto, vice president of HRC
The announcement of Casey Stoner on his withdrawal from MotoGP at the end of the season shocked the motor sport world, Nakamoto confirmed that HRC were aware of Stoner plans…we talked about it many times, Stoner wanted spend more time with his family in Australia and as little time as possible to do tests. Nakamoto adds, We thought that the five month winter sleep is enough, but apparently it wasn’t !
According to tweets form @AziFarni quoting Stoner “over the years there have been things in the sport that were disappointing but also things that he loved…now the balance has tipped and after of years sacrifcing his family its time to stop as the passion is lost ”
Stoner’s decision will complicates Honda’s future MotoGP plans, rumors are already circulating that Honda is pressuring Dorna to abolish the rookie rule which obliges rookies in MotoGP to do at least one year in a satellite team before moving to a factory team. -Honda has their eyes on Marc Marquez.
One thing for sure is we are gona miss Stoners slides, and i personally believe Stoner will do a come back .
!!!
Sad day
I was watching the Malaysian round of the MotoGP from the office today and on the 3rd lap Simoncelli slides but somehow manages a save which almost brought the bike up again and unfortunately across the track and into the path of riders Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi.
Both Edwards and Rossi crashed into Simoncelli at the same time, Simoncelli was rushed to the medical center but he succumbed to his injuries at 11:56am local time.
Marco was a great racer we all enjoyed watching him race, he was the spice of the MotoGP.
Ciao super SEC .

Vale is out
The crash Rossi had yesterday during the practice session left him with a broken tibia and fibula of the right leg, he was operated on for around 3 hours and the surgery was a success…the doctors used Spinal Block (epidural) insted of general anesthesia which means that Rossi was awake during the surgery and can see and hear all the cutting and drilling to his leg but without feeling any pain.
The bad news is that he will be out of the track for around 5 month, so today’s race at Mugello will be with out Rossi.
Race start at 2:30pm on Jazeera Sport +3.
Last Friday i had a small accident, i fell of my bike…the road was straight and my speed was around 70-80km, all i can recall is that i felt like i have hit something and the front wheel started shaking i tried to ease the head shake by accelerating to unload the weight of the front wheel… it worked for a couple of seconds just to come back harder than before and the bike became like a raging bull on a rodeo ring and throw me away.
I managed to stand up and walk away from the street, my nose was bleeding as i was wearing an open face helmet with the visor removed …any way i ended up with a dislocated left shoulder, dislocated right pinky, cracked left toe, deeply scuffed right knee and a broken nose…i could have avoided the nose injury if i was wearing a full face helmet, and the knee cut if i was wearing my riding jeans not a regular jeans.
Now am all wrapped up like a mummy and enjoying the pain killers high, i just realized that 5 days already passed
