Made in Thailand
In order to get around high import duties and taxes, Ducati well soon -Jan 2011- be shipping out the Ducs from their new Thai plant. Ducati confirmed that the new Thai factory is for the Asian markets, and they have no intention of decreasing their presence in Italy.
The question is, are we by any chance in Asia ?

Q&A on Vale
Q&A with Yamaha Motor Racing managing director Lin Jarvis, team manager Davide Brivio, Yamaha boss Lin Jarvis, Rossi’s surgeon Dr. Buzzi and Yamaha communications manager William Favero.
1. What caused the accident? Was it rider error or a bike/tyre issue?
Davide Brivio, Fiat Yamaha Team Manager, Valentino Rossi’s crew: “Valentino was on his first flying lap with new hard tyres. At ‘Arrabbiata 2′ Valentino slowed down to let another rider pass, because he was following him. When Valentino opened the throttle again at ‘Biondetti’, the first corner on the left, having ridden for about a quarter of the track at a very low speed, the rear tyre had cooled down and lost grip suddenly, causing the crash. When Valentino lost the rear of the bike his speed was approximately 180kph and when he hit the ground it was approximately 150kph.”
2. What were Valentino’s exact injuries? Read more

The next big thing

Apple just launched the iPad, the device is just a bigger iPhone but without the phone, but with 3G connection that we can use to place VOIP calls, a lot of people my have been disappointed or was expecting something much more interesting than just a bigger iPodiPhone, but i was expecting this since the day i got addicted to my iPhone, the damn thing dosn’t leave my hand..it goes to all the places i go to especially the toilet in the morning, either to listen to music while showering or to check and answer emails while….
I can conduct around 70% of my office work communication using my iPhone but at so many occasions i wished it had a bigger screen, faster processor, better battery life, and the ability to save files and openplay different media formats, the same goes for my laptop i always wanted a faster, lighter 12 inch Mac with better battery life -am still using my 12″ PB G4-.
With the new iPad i believe i can do it all, and i very much belive its going to be the next and only businessentertainment gadget one will ever need…come to think of it at the office most of us use their computers for email, internet, and socializing, at home we use our laptops for the same plus watching movie, listing to music, and gaming, the iPad will do all that and maybe more, so i guess we’ll soon say goodbye to our laptops or we’ll just use them edit home movies.

A classic fight
Filed under: Ducati, MotoGP, Motor Sports, News, Racing, Stoner
Today’s race at Phillip Island was a classic, Stoner was in top physical condition giving the spectates a show to remember with his high speed slides, Rossi was trying every trick in the book to bypass him but the Australian was too fast and maintained the lead all the way to the checker flag.
Lorenzo crashed out at turn one of the first lap after touching Nicky Hayden bike, he was lucky to escape the crash with only a small injury to his pinky.
