Clip of the day
That must have hurt
Captured this at the gulf road a couple of weeks back, am guessing this is the first wrecked Panamera world wide.
Love at first sight
By our friend and blog contributor Jerry.
That was the feeling when I first set foot in the modest showroom of MV Agusta KUWAIT, seeing the all new 2011 Brutale 1090RR setting in the corner looking for a new bike fanatic owner…..could it be you? i hope not, coz i like to have it for myself…if not lets hope the owner will be a friend and as a result i can take the bike for a spin and write more about this nice peace of art on wheels.
Kuwait Riders Group
A couple of weeks back i got a message from a friend inviting me to join a new riding group called Kuwait Riders, i joined their Facebook Group and a week ago i got an invitation to attend the inauguration gathering which took place yesterday at Movenpick free zone.
It was a nice gathering, the group was introduced and goals explained….i also got to meet riders that i haven’t seen for a while.
For more about Kuwait Riders Group please visit their Facebook page, the group website http://kuwaitriders.com/ is still under construction.
Online registration form, Photos of the event.
Donuts Day
Saturday is now officially Bikers Donuts Day, every Saturday Donuts are served at TriStar in the morning and at Bike World in the evening…Dunkin Donuts, Tea Nescafe at TriStar, Krispy Kreme and drip coffee at Bike World.
It’s a nice gesture form both dealers to bring bikers together, you get to get together with fellow bikers and chat about bikes of course share experiences, latest adventures, bike modes, etc.
Yesterday i went to both gatherings, and today i noticed that i did not eat anyting other than Donuts yesterday and i only eat plain ones!!!
Oh and don’t miss the South African round of the WSBK today at 1pm.
The 48
I was at the Harley showroom yesterday, and i was surprised to see the new Sportster 48, i posted about the bike back in Jan when it was first launched and i fell in love with it by just looking the photos.
I was hopping i wouldn’t change my mind when i see it in person, as a lot of stuff doesn’t look as good in real life as they do in pictures….the 48 did not disappoint me the bike looks even better than the photos with its skinny fuel tank, balloon tyres, under the handlebars mounted mirrors, shorty front mudguard, and low height single seat.
Although the bike comes in three classic paint options, they only brought the black… i really like to see the gray and the orange.
I believe Harley did a good job with the 48, and if you’re shopping for a real retro then look no further.
The Motocross Babe
Ghada Al Faraj is young Kuwaiti female biker that has recently competed in the local round of the National Motocross Championship, i had a chance to meet Ghada and ask her a couple of questions Read more
2010 Kuwait Bike Show
I went to the 2010 Kuwait Bike Show on Friday…it was a well organized event with HOG Chapters from all around the gulf especially Bahrain and KSA, the weather was bad but it seamed that the crowd did not mind it…custom bikes builders from Bahrain participated with some really cool bikes, there was also a couple of local bikes that were also nice.
Harley Demo Day
I was checking Harley’s website today and i noticed they had a web banner announcing a test ride day, the banner reads:
“Test-ride the latest Harleys on Friday 26th March from 9am to 3pm, Coffee Republic Free Zone, See you with Riding Gear”
