Like it’s not quick enough
After the fun i had with the Shift Assist on my K1300R i decided that my Duc should have one…did some googling but could not find a kit for my Sport Classic, so i called Ricky at TriStar workshop for advice and he recommended i get the Dynojet universal quick shifter push type kit and they will do the rest…so i did, and the kit is here they will be picking up the bike today to mount the kit and tune it.
Can’t wait to try it.
It’s official
Summer.

Manage Your Seats more Professionally !
Filed under: Advertising, Bullshit, Events, Local, Ralf Langwost, Reviews
A friend gave a ticket for a seminar organized by the Kuwait Chapter of the International Advertising Association, it’s about how to “Manage Your Ideas more Professionally” ..i don’t usually attend events organized by this “association” because i think its a waste of time, but my friend insisted that i should ..because the famous German dude Ralf Langwost is giving the seminar ..so i accepted, not becuase i knew who Ralf Langwost is, but because i didn’t want to look ignorant if i didn’t.
For some weird reason the seminar was in a ballroom at Hyatt Hospital !!!
So anyway i went there, the hostess at the door gave the directions were to find a seat ..she opened the door to a room that was around 6m x 6m and packed with people just like a big sardine can…she couldn’t even open the door fully to let me in because there was people setting next to the door..i had to squeeze myself in only to find that there were no seats available ! i wasn’t the only one ..a couple of guys were already standing outside and making fun of it…how could someone organize an event like this and sells tickets -mine had the “paid Delegates” stamp on it so it was not free – and not have enough seats ?
Yallah.. at least Mr.Langwost could now go back to Germany and write a book on seat management.
Stolen Bike
This bike got stolen yesterday from our friend’s place in Manqaf, it is a bluewhite 2003 BMW R1100S with a license plate number 2403…if you spot the bike please call Scott on 97220184, the Police, or post a comment here.
Local Street Art
…and the feeling’s right
Trying to be a bit feminist and show my support to the other sex, i participated yesterday in the “Just Ride” event organized by TriStar.. the ride was the first and only in the middle east.
It was a cool nice ride and i got to meetrace some female riders that really know how to ride ..never thought we had any in Kuwait !!
Gathered at TriStar, rode to Doha, then back to Applebee’s for diner curtsy of TriStar.
I also got to meet BuYousf… he had his camera on him and took some nice shots.
Yesterday was not a good day
for bikers…2 accidents and i was there a minute after both had happend…
One was when i was going for lunch and and the other was when i was on my way home, the first one was a Ninja ZX-14 and the other was a Busa 1300, the rider of the Ninja managed to move and set on the side walk but was in pain and bleeding a bit…but the guy on the Busa looked really bad… the Ninja was totaled but the Busa was just laying down as if someone laid it there!!!
For some reason i did not have the heart to come closer and help them, but a lot of people where already doing so.
The annoying part is when the police came to the first accident, one of the policemen was asking: who is owner of the bike -as if he can’t tell- then asked him to move the bike to the side of the road !!!
Nice weather eh?
The weather was very bad the last couple of weeks and i did not get a chance to enjoy a ride, i was hopping to ride today but the weather is damn good for riding… i miss waking up early on Friday -i never wake up early for work- and meeting the other nuts to slice a couple of curves and make some noise….i miss the rush when going into a curve not knowing if u’ll mange to do it or not…u try to stay within limits but that 100+ hp between ur legs has a mind of its own..and u just have to obey.
I hope the weather gets a bet worse tomorrow.
