Pirelli Diablo Corsa III
I’ll just replaced the OEM tires of my K1300R with these Pirelli Diablo Corsa III, the OEM tires only have only around 3000 on them and they can still take another 2000km i think, but i need fresh tiers for my trip…tires that have a great grip and would last me the whole trip.
The Pirelli Diablo Corsa III is developed for both street and racetrack use, it’s a multi-compound tyre that offers the same pleasure of riding on tracks, and gives decent mileage levels on normal road use. The rear tyre is made of two compounds: a softer compound on the shoulder for perfect handling and corner grip, while the harder compound in the middle for better mileage levels. Read more
BMW Soft Bag 2 -Large-
I’ll be going on a little bike trip next week, and i needed a bag to carry my stuff so i got this BMW bag…its a 55 liter soft bag with a semi hard bottom.
Its water proof and can sit on the pillion seat or on the luggage rack and strapped to the bike chassis, it comes with 6 pairs of straps -different sizes-, sidetop pockets, light reflectors, and a shoulder strap.
In case you need to know, i easily stuffed it with 16 t-shirts, 3 jeans, 3 shorts, 2 swimming shorts, 10 underwear’s, 3 pairs of shoes, a Flip-flop, socks, laptop, camera, chargers, toiletries, and the travel documents in the transparent upper pocket.
I like the quality of and design of the bag that i also got the smaller one -30 Liters-. Read more

One woman, one motorcycle
For the 30-year-old Ania Jackowska, who travelled from Poland to Croatia, Portugal and the Middle East on two wheels, mascara is an important accessory. “I have to take care of my motorcycle, of course, but I also have to look after myself. I’m a woman and I don’t want to forget that while I am travelling,” she says. “I always take a short dress with me, too, even though I probably won’t wear it, but just to remember that I am a woman!”
Ania is a solo long-distance motorcycle rider, and went on a 10,000km journey through the Middle East in 2009, in which she explored Damascus, Jordan, Amman, Petra, Aqaba, Syria and Turkey.
“In Islamic countries, it is necessary for lone female riders to forget they are a woman and not expose their sexuality,” she says. “You can smile to other people, but you can’t giggle and laugh too much. You can be kind, but not too kind. You have to remember the cultural differences all the time in order to travel safely.” Read more
Shake that…
Just came back form a track evening at the Autodrom in Dubai.
It was a open pit evening from 7-9pm, meaning you are not restricted to the 20 minutes sessions… you can go into the pit and back to the track whenever you like.
Since we came all the way from Kuwait, we didn’t want to waste anytime on the bit and we were doing lap after lap after lap in around 50% humidity and a 40c temperature -with leathers on-….we only rested for about 15min when one of the riders crashed and they had to remove his bike of the track and check the track for any oil spell.
Did we learn anything this time?
Yes we did, a lot…but the most important thing is that we need to be in a top physical condition to enjoy the track, it was so hard moving our butts from side to side after a couple of laps.. so we decided to start doing Aerobic classes… apparently all the treadmilling and weight lifting we have been doing for years is worth nothing on the track.
Scotland Tour on R1200RT
This videos makes me wana go places, my heart skips a beat every time i watch it.
An evening at the Autodrom
A couple of weeks ago we got an email from Ducati UAE inviting us to the opening of the Dubai showroom, we were also asked to register for a chance to win a one-to-one session with Troy Bayless.
We had the time so we decided to drive 1300km to Dubai, be part of the event, race our bikes at the Autodrom, and have dinner with Troy Bayliss.
I had some complications and i ended up flying to Dubai while my friend towed the bikes alone all the way to Dubai, and from the photo above i think he enjoyed the 1300km drive to Dubai 😉 Read more

A Greek bachelor party
Filed under: Athens, Events, Greece, Restaurants, Travel, Video
My last night out in Athens was to a rebetiko place called Pinelopi & Mnistires, the restaurant is a fairly small one, the tables were very close to each other and it felt like its one big table and everybody is sitting next to each other like one big party family.
There was a round 60 people in the restaurant, we were 8, and next to us around 20 Athenian women throwing a bachelor party for one of them – well it started that way but after some time the whole restaurant was part of that party-.

Watching all these bikers in Athens riding made miss riding a lot, and wanting to go back to Kuwait to ride my bike…the way motorcyclists ride in Athens is as if they are running away from a volcano, it doesn’t matter if they are ridding a 1300cc bike or just the 50cc delivery scooter…they all ride with an attitude.
Am back in Kuwait now and can’t wait to ride the beast, but unfortunately 2 of my friends crashed a couple of days ago, believe it or not they collided into each other…nothing serious just a couple of cracked rips, a broken arm, and a scare.
The above photo is for a used Desmosedici at a Ducati dealer in Athens with only 600km, they are asking 60000 Euros for it.
