Best of Sharm
Am leaving Sharm today with the same mixed feelings I had the first time i was here two years ago, a feeling of i will never come back here again or I might come for a weekend just to relax at the beach and do some snorkeling.
Snorkeling is great here, you don’t need to leave the hotel to do it, its right at the beach and it doesn’t matter how many times you do it you’ll always find something new, either a new fish or a colorful coral… it’s amazing down there you could easily spend the whole morning without noticing as the colors of the corals and the variety of the fish changes as time goes by !
In the evening i hit the old market for a Koshary or a grilled fish and later on chill with a couple of espressos at my favorite coffee shop and watch the locals and the tourists pass by…maybe wetness a female fight if am lucky.
A lot of people might find this kinda of boring, for those there is Na’maa Bay and Soho square.
Note: Sharm was full of locals, Palestinians and other Arab tourists, so expect to see women swimming in their jeans and sun bathing next to topless Russian chicks.
Posted from my iPhone.
Only @Vodafone Egypt !
I bought a top up card to top my Vodafone line and noticed the English instructions are different than the Arabic, actually the Arabic instructions are wrong !!
How could a company like Vodafone have not noticed this ?
Only in Egypt
Now the other funny part is that the restaurant has a dress code !!!
Gentlemen can’t go in with shorts, and if you happen to be wearing one then u’ll be asked to wear a pants
which they will provide at no cost.
A clean ironed pants that comes in all sizes.
Relaxing Blue
Still in Sharm enjoying the blue seasky, something i really missed.
Am not doing much, morning dip, breakfast, espresso, espresso again, snorkeling, then Mojito after Mojito…until dinner time.
Weather is perfect, warm in the morning and cool -around 25-28c- at night.
حمدالله عالسلامه يا فندم
Am off to Sharm El Shaikh for a couple of days, i was here a couple of years back for business and my impression was its nice if you didn’t have to leave the hotel.
I’ll be relaxing on the beach and doing some snorkeling, and maybe some diving.

Shoulder lack strength
Filed under: Dani Pedrosa, Events, Honda, Losail Circuit, MotoGP, Qatar, Rossi, Stoner, Travel
Last night qualifying battle was between the two Repsol Honda team mates Stoner and Pedrosa, but Stoner was faster and managed to beat Pedrosa…Lorenzo came 3rd.
The surprise was that Rossi came 9th and after qualifying Rossi said that his shoulder was fine now but lack enough strength to keep up the pace, on the technical side he also confirmed that they made some improvement to the bike and there is a lot to be made but its not possible at time being.
Tonight at 10pm the real race starts, and we believe its going to be very competitive.
Good Evening Losail
Am in Doha for the opening race of the 2011 MotoGP season, the race is on Sunday 10pm local time but i am here early to watch the free practice and the qualifying .
I arrived at the circuit a bit late yesterday but i was in time to watch the 3rd free practice and all i can tell you is that the Dr. is not very happy with the front end of his Ducati it was wobbling like a cheese cake
i also managed to have Lorenzo autograph my Moon helmet, i was also lucky to meet Dr. and he also autographed my corkscrew cap.

A small clip of a warm up lap at Losail.
Losail is a very nice and fast track, its 5.380 km in length, 12 meters width, has 10 right corners and 6 left ones with a main straight of 1,068 meters, it also has a good safe area just incase you like running out wide like me.
In 2007, the track was equipped with lighting for night races and became the largest sport venue with permanent lighting in the world, but it recently lost the title to Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The first night race in MotoGP history was the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar in March 2008.
